Woke up early and gave the Merc a wash and wax. Didn't give the Malibu the same treatment and now she's green with envy.

Where are you? the architecture is pretty crazy from what i'm used to. It looks like something on a Caribbean island. Also nice car. I had to much pollen on my car it blew away in a cloud as I pulled out of my driveway.

Yes it was, until something is broken.

But that car is fairly reliable engine-wise.

But dat V12, is simply take-off. It feels like the car wants to fly. I miss my old car.

How do you wash your car?

I watched all the videos on how to do it, (MCM, Drive/Clean) and I finally washed mine 2 days ago (First time in 16 years!) and I couldn't get everything off and it had a lot of leftover dust/stuff on the paint. Also in 2 days, it almost looks like it did before (sand on it, cobwebs from the side mirrors...)

I'm very interested to hear how to do it properly.

I don't have any special technique. I simply wash it in sections, start in the left side by rinsing the car then applying the soap in firm circular motions and them rinse it off before the soap dries up. Repeat this again on the rear, right and front. After that, I lightly rinse the car again and then dry it with a chamoise.

After I finish the car, I wash the wheels and scrub the tire before applying a tire shine.

My dad was the one that did the waxing so I can't really tell you how it's done.
